Situated in Badulla district, Beramada, Sri Lanka, this magnificent waterfall stands tall at about 75 meters and spans over 100 meters in width. 21 km from Badulla, passing touristic area Narangala, ss you approach this stunning natural wonder, you will be greeted by a sight of cascading water that resembles smoke, creating a breathtaking view that will leave you in awe.
Originating from the Narangala mountain ranges, the fresh water flows down into the valley and collects in a wide pool, before falling onto a huge black rock in a spectacular display of nature's power. You can get as close as you want to the edge of the waterfall, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the experience. The sound of the rushing water and the refreshing drizzle will soothe your senses, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
